CRONIMET

ALFA ACCIAI

The steelworks’ company ALFA ACCIAI was founded in the mid-fifties and over the past 50 years it has increased its production capacity to more than 1.9 million tons of steel a year. To achieve this the company has 1500 employees. The majority of the products are sold to the construction industry. In the late eighties 3 companies have joined the ALFA Acciai group, namely: ALFA DERIVATI - Parma – in 1989, FERROBERICA - Vicenza – in 1991 and ACCIAIERIE DI SICILIA - Catania – in 1999.

TSR

TSR is the international market leader in the recycling of steel scrap and non-ferrous metals with over 80 operation sites and some 1,000 employees in Germany and abroad. For TSR, steel recycling is an indispensable part of the recycling industry. TSR sees itself as a supplier to the steel industry and an intermediary between suppliers and customers. The materials are processed using the latest equipment such as baling machines, shears and shredders.

FME-CWM

The FME-CWM Association is the trade organisation for the technological-industrial sector. The activities in the sector cover engineering, manufacturing, trade, industrial maintenance and industrial automation. Around 2,750 organizations (metal, plastics, electronics and electro-technology), employing some 260,000 people, are members of FME.

 

BIR (Bureau of International Recycling)
BIR is an international trade federation representing the world’s recycling industry, covering in particular ferrous and non-ferrous metals, paper and textiles. Plastics, rubber and tyres are also studied and traded by some BIR members.
MRF (Metal Recycling Federation)

The MRF is an association with the aim of improving the environmentally and economically sound recycling of used metals in the Netherlands.

ARN (Auto Recycling Nederland)
Auto Recycling Nederland (ARN) was established by the Dutch automobile industry with the aim of bringing about drastic reductions in the amount of waste generated by scrap cars (end-of-life vehicles).
